Uneven

Conflicting thoughts

Your actions pull me in

While pushing me away

My actions draining 

Necessary but unnecessary 

Back and forth we go

With lapses of time in between 

Yet the physical distance is negligible 

Statements made, but promises broken

We are uneven….
